What did you like?nnOur great experience actually started before we even arrived. A day before check-in we received detailed arrival instructions, including photos, videos, and an explanation of who would be there to welcome us. The room key was stored in a secure lockbox, and we received the code in advance, so we knew we could access the room even if no staff member happened to be there when we arrived.nnWe stayed as a couple, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an oven, stovetop, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, cooking utensils, and a refrigerator. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary bottled water and even a bottle of wine waiting for us.nnWhenever we asked for anything extra, such as coffee capsules, bottled water, or fresh towels, it was provided immediately and with a smile.nnThe location is exceptional, right on the beach with breathtaking sea views. It was incredibly peaceful at night, with only the relaxing sound of the waves. (A small tip for future visitors: during the day, you'll hear the loud sound of cicadas all over the island. It's completely normal and not specific to this property. Almost magically, they become quiet around 7 p.m., so they don't affect the peaceful evenings or the overall enjoyment of the stay). Waking up to that view every morning was one of the highlights of our stay. Every room has its own private balcony, which made it feel as though we had the entire view to ourselves while enjoying our morning coffee. The property is relatively small, so even when there were other guests, it never felt crowded or noisy.nnThe parking area is quite small and a bit tight, but we always managed to find a space without any real difficulty.nnThe real highlight of our stay was the staff. Both the manager, Aristotle, and the housekeeper, Fani, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

What didn't you like?rnrnThe only minor downside was the location, although for many people it could just as easily be considered a major advantage.rnrnThe property is in a relatively secluded area, which means it's wonderfully peaceful, with very few tourists (mostly families), a small beach within walking distance, a mini market nearby, and a small town with cafés, supermarkets, and local shops just a 10–15 minute drive away.rnrnThe trade-off is that most of Corfu's famous attractions, such as the most scenic beaches, the Old Town, and the main ports for boat trips, are about an hour's drive away. Given Corfu's winding and sometimes challenging roads, those drives can feel quite long, especially if you plan to explore a different part of the island every day.rnrnDid this affect our enjoyment? A little, as the driving could be tiring. However, the peaceful atmosphere, the lack of crowds and noise, and all the other advantages of the location more than made up for it. We would simply recommend renting a car if you stay here—but honestly, we'd say that to anyone visiting Corfu, regardless of where they choose to stay.
