A Note on Access
Please be aware of a short, gentle uphill access driveway (about 70 meters) from the coastal road to our property. Alternatively, there's a flight of steps. While it's a small path to your peaceful retreat, it might be something to consider if you have severe mobility limitations.
Things to do in walking distance : Go snorkeling in the sea just below, rent a kayak, motorboat, scooter, quad bike, or car... or lace up your hiking boots and explore one of the many nearby footpaths.
Take a slow, delightful 10-minute stroll to Fiscardo’s centre, where you'll find cozy tavernas, seaside bars, supermarkets, and little souvenir shops tucked between the trees.
Or — simply do nothing at all.
Open a bottle of delicate, floral Kefalonian wine. Light some scented candles.
And create your own private slice of heaven from the comfort of your veranda.
Late at night, after the last cicada has fallen asleep, our friends from the big city centres often pause — wide-eyed — realizing the only sound they hear… are the gentle waves of the sea.
And sometimes… even that, just fades away.
Now... Gently close your eyes for a moment and imagine this :
Clear blue skies above you, deep-green cypress trees rising in the hills, and crystalline turquoise waters below.
The scent of wild thyme on the breeze. Goats grazing peacefully near an old donkey trail, their bells mingling softly with birdsong.
Just beneath your feet, a secret little cove, its waters calling you in. And across the channel — the dreamy silhouette of Ithaca.
Maybe you can already feel it:
The warm sea breeze brushing your face. The sun gently soaking into your skin.
The scent of oregano and basil riding the wind. Weaving through the citrus trees and wildflowers, slipping through your windows. Blending with the freshness of clean linen, and the soft perfume of dried lavender...
