Information about free parking:
Parking is free on the streets Ptolemeon, Singrou, Filippou until the turn to Ionos Dragoumi street and Olympou street from Ionos Dragoumi street. During busy days of events and exhibitions in the city we don't recommend that you move your car frequently or you might find it difficult to find a free parking spot on your return.
Information about paid parking:
On almost all other streets apart from those mentioned above that have free parking around the apartment there is paid parking along the road, where it is indicated by a sign. Each such sign has a unique number and with your number and license plate you can pay at any convenience store around and costs 1.7 per hour but you don't have to pay from 9pm until 8am in the morning, so if you will be around town/away with your car and come back late then you can save based on those hours. There is also no parking fee after 4pm on Saturdays and none at all on Sundays. There are also two paid parking companies nearby within walking distance. One is Parking Karavan Sarai and the other is Parking Thermaikos which is open 24 hours and they both range from 12 to 14 per day.
