It is also famous for one of the longest beach in Naxos, the unparalel white sandy 3 km Kastraki beach with its crystal clear waters. This beach is perfect for relaxing, swimming, snorkeling, water sports and barefoot sea walks.
The fact that Kastraki beaches are naturally preserved offers the ideal scenery for those that love nature and enjoy the calmness of the abundant beach and the sun. It offers one of the most romantic and unique sunsets of the island, as the sun dives behind the mountains of the neighbouring island of Paros. Kastraki, even though it is outside of the city, is well organized. Public transportation offers multiple daily transfers to the around villages and the port of Naxos, available also private transfers and taxis. For your shopping list, numerous local mini markets will cover your daily groceries, some of them offer free delivery to our premises exclusively for our guests.
