The apartment is located in a quiet and quality central Athens neighborhood in the downtown part of fashionable Pangrati. The area is surrounded by the established Pangrati neighborhood with upscale Kolonaki and the embassy district nearby, which is an important factor in Athens where certain other downtown areas advertised as central are in fact very run-down and not necessarily suitable for travelers and especially families.
There are numerous café/bars and eateries within the immediate vicinity of the apartment, with a fuller range of restaurants and traditional Greek tavernas within short walking distance, as well as many patisseries, shops, fresh bakeries and other local amenities in the immediate vicinity of home. A large Alpha Beta supermarket (the top Greek supermarket chain) is located just a few minutes walk away at Spirou Merkouri 38 and has everything that you could need including very extensive food and beverage options, and is open weekdays 8.00-21.00 and Saturdays 8.00-20.00. In addition there are a couple of mini-supermarkets within a minute's walk.
The apartment is within five minutes walk of the nearest main metro station Evangelismos on the M3 line.
